An alien emerges from a flying saucer in Washington, DC, demanding a conference with all the leaders of the world so as to warn them about their use of nuclear technology, but when his request is denied he escapes into town, hoping to find another way to get across his message without resorting to violence, in this beautifully crafted, thoughtful, and very entertaining piece of science fiction.
