Despite its slightly (and needlessly) manipulative score, Kuenne’s very, very upsetting film, which documents the epic road trip that he made in order to pay tribute to his recently murdered best friend, is both a beautifully constructed, heartfelt memorial to a lost loved one and a devastating document of how one tragedy needlessly led to another.
