Director: Michael Apted
Cinematographer: George Jesse Turner

In this third instalment of Michael Apted’s Up documentaries – a series of filmed examinations of the attitudes and lives of a group of disparate British citizens, who are revisited every seven years – the questions are less formulaic and more tailored to each participant than in the previous two films, mirroring the developing individual personalities of its subjects, who are generally growing to type (with one or two notable exceptions).
