Playing fictionalised versions of themselves, Coogan and Brydon set off on a restaurant tour of northern England for a magazine article, exploring spectacular landscapes, indulging in mouth-watering dishes, and competing in celebrity impression duels along the way, in this mostly and hilariously improvised mini-series, which, though generally pleasingly warm and gentle, is also surprisingly very affecting.
